Participants and visitors alike can immerse themselves in an atmosphere free from modern interruption at quiet, wooded Forest Glen preserve. Reenactors portraying British and rebellious forces take the field daily for demonstrations of their tactical prowess–who will win each battle?
Reenactors are invited to participate in bayonet and tomahawk throwing competitions, with prizes for the winners. In the evening, reenactors may gather in the tavern (a recreated log building) for cards and music.
Reenactors: Registration by unit. Unit commanders, call Charlie Rhoden at 217-662-8757 with number and type of tents you will be bringing. Leaving a message is fine. Please register by September 18.
